The Asset Audit Trail records all changes made to an Asset, as well as the user account responsible for the change, the date of the change, and the IP address the change was made from.

The Audit Trail is available from the Attributes menu of any Asset.

Once the Audit Trail has been loaded, a date range is be selected and an optional change description filter is added, and then the 'Search' button can be used to load the Audit Trail results within that range with a matching change description.

The Date range for a Search is restricted to a maximum of a 6-month period. There is also a limit of 500 audit trail records returned for any given search.

For a complete export of all items, the 'Export' button will queue the download.

The complete Audit Trail export for your current search criteria can then be downloaded from the 'Background workers' section when the status of the request is 'Completed'. The data will be in saved in CSV format, contained within a zip file.

The current search results page can also be exported using either of the two export buttons, 'Export to Excel' or 'Export to PDF', depending on the desired format.

This will export only the currently viewed page of results, not the complete data set.
